Rear wiper not at right angle

Featured Replies

Hi all, long-time viewer, first-time poster.

It appears as though the "rest" position for my rear wiper is at about 10-15 degrees rotated up from being flat along the bottom of the window.

I have no idea why this is, and it has been like it for a while (can't remember how long) but I didn't want to force it back to the correct position - can anyone tell me how to do it or is it a case of just applying pressure and pushing it back?

Many thanks for any advice!

Unclip the wiper bolt cap, undo nut then prise wiper off the bolt (It may be difficult to prise off though). Then put back together at the postition you want. Done!

Lift up the wiper cap, undo the 13mm nut underneath and then wiggle the wiper arm loose, then position where you like and refit the arm and nut. I'd advise against prising, you dont want to damage the screen. Best way is to sit the wiper upright and wiggle it in and out, should come off.
