Remote for central locking

Hi, i want to install aftermarket remove for serial central locking in my Fabia. Before doing anything else I was checking if the lock/unlock works as described in many guides.

Found the required wire in passenger door white socket (5th pin green-blue, it's the second from right when looking from inside of the car). Connected it through 180 ohm resistor to earthe and it unlocks. But when connected directly to earh it doesnt lock. So unlocking through resistor works but locking not.

Am i doing somethig wrong? Do I have wrong wire? I have triple checked fabia service manual and this green-blue wire is from switches in door central locking unit. Also if unlocking works I expect it to be correct wire.
