Grab this before someone else does

I can't as my car is here in the UK. The day it went on sale I was logged on ready to snap it up until I had the bad news on the two-week registering saga :'(

MK11 VRS

Looks awesome, only beaten by one that was snapped up morning of release on the 7th HE11 VRS

I thought £399 was not too expensive for either.

Perhaps you might like F48 VRS which I've got on retention now my Fabia's gone...

They are great plates at a good price! I paid £350 for mine S14 BOC, Super 1.4 Bocanegra. I like that it keeps the car ageless :)

Just realised that my plate E14 CRS will look good on my new Furby VRS :)

These prices are about normal.

Cant see any problem with youe 2 week registering saga, whatever hat was you can still put the plate on the car even if the dealer had registered it, the original plate allocated would be retained till the personal plate was removed from it, & then put back onto the car.

Don't you think it makes it look like an S reg, ie 1998 ?

I have a private 55 reg, on an 08 plate vehicle. But often I think it just makes the car look older as it's still got a year identifier on it.

I would say only a complete numpty who didn't know anything about cars would think that a newish Bocanegra was really a 1998 S-reg! :giggle:

You'd have to know nothing about cars to think a latest shape Seat Ibiza was an 1999 (S) model!

This is why I much prefer the older style private plates (A1 BCD). On newer cars they are more obviously personalised as they are very different to the new style AB12 CDE.

I think its much more difficult to tell if a new style number plate is personalised.
