Temperature on display flashing - help!

Featured Replies

Hello all! Can anyone diagnose my problem? Over the last few days, every now and again I hear a beep (just once, like when you are running low on fuel) and then the temperature display flashes (it has a picture of a snowflake to the left of the temperature). I think it seems to happen when I hit 4 degrees. It flashes 5 or 6 times then stops. Is it a warning of some kind? Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks :)

Warning that there may be ice around..

Nothing to worry about, it's just telling you to be more cautious :)

This is quite normal. It is just telling yopu that the temperature is measured at 4°C, so there will be a risk of slippery roads.

Road surfaces are often colder than the air, so the 4 ° is a reasonable warning. It will stop flashing after a few times.

Phew! I'm so relieved! Thankyou thankyou thankyou! Another clever little yeti feature :)

Think yourself lucky, the same thing on the Roomster sounds like the car has some sort of major failure.
