Has anyone took their turbo off?

Featured Replies

I was wondering if any of you guys have ever replaced your own turbo or swapped it etc :smirk:

and how much was involved? was it a big job? and more so a pai in the ass?

its actually not to bad

you can remove it from the top you just need to move the coolant line that goes into the bulk head push down out the way.

take your time and jobs a good un

as for putting the new turbo back on i find it easyier to fit all the bango's and lines to the turbo side first

need a hand let me know buddy

as above. not to bad.

a whole lot easier if you dont have a upper strut brace. i found that out the hard way!!

just need to replace the gasket between the manifold and turbo, and a possibly a few copper washers around the banjo bolts.
