Just searched and found some useful info on how to keep the paint Red etc . . . . can anyone name some specific products to use though?

Swissol products come highly recommended by people - do a seach on here for swissol and there should be some photos of how it turns out. However, not cheap in the short term...

Rob.

Usually use autoglym polish and then go over with autoglym resin gloss protecor. Keeps it looking good and protects from the sun.

Thanks for the info . . .

Swissol seems to be pretty good but is a tad expensive . . . I reckon I'm going to try the Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax as it's only

Use Swissol here, and wouldnt use anything else. Yes initial outlay is expensive but it last so long as you use so little, and the results are outstanding.

As for the interior, I just use the Quantum interior cleaner once a month, with a dust and vac of the interior weekly. It still looks like new inside.

Which AutoGlym polish do you use?

I have only had the car two weeks and I want to put a good base coat of wax on. I did give it the once over with the Extra Gloss Protection stuff last week after a wash but did not have time to do anything else before it got dark.

I have got some Super Resin Polish that I used on my old car. Is this Ok as the base coat? Or do AutoGlym do a different product for this purpose?
