Has anyone in the south lincs / peterborough / kings lynn / wisbech area got access to diagnostics kit for a mk1 octavia vrs (2003).

The engine mangement light came on my car last week - fault code for coolant temp sensor. I replaced the sensor and disconnected the battery to switch the light off. Tonight the light has come back on. There is no noticable loss of performance, but I am now concerned as the light has been on 3 times and i have only had the car a month. First time it was a low voltage reading, second was the coolant temp sensor and third is??

I can travel from Spalding to whereever, and am available daytime weds / thurs / fri and also evenings if anyone can help me out for a few £££ please??

I'll be driving back from Wales to Thetford tomorrow (Wednesday) and I have my cable & PC with me. I know-nothing about Octavias but I can certainly do you a file with the current fault logs etc. Not interested in payment though as it will cost me nothing and it's Christmas.
