Saw my first furby vRS in Brum

Featured Replies

Hey,

Just seen my first furby vRS in Brum and I've been here for about a year and a half. Was walking back from Uni minding my own business, thinking that there's only 3 days till I get my vRS and then I see this silver one pull out of the shopping centre car park in front of me. What a coincidence  but I then looked at the driver and saw an old man probably in his 60's with nice shiny silver hair to match the car. What is the world coming to old men give the car such an old man car image. The thing about this one was that it also had a personalised number plate (which was quite good). That's not right must be his son/daughter's car just borrowed it for the shopping or he's trying to get with the times (good on him).

It made me stop and think for a bit, am I gonna be driving an old man's car, but what the heck I've seen old people in ferrari's so that won't stop me.

3 days and counting till my new toy arrives yey!!! :D

Alex

P.S. Sorry to bore you had to get it out of my system, and I thought this would be the right forum as it's furby related ;)

rather an old man than a chav!!! :D

The 3 days will seem like forever...............enjoy it when you get it but becareful!!

Oh I will be careful especially after my little accident, I am now alot more aware of what's around me. Plus I'll be bedding it in so will be taking it easy all the time.

Cheers

Maybe had a mid/old-life crisis and wanted something a bit nippier than the usual Hyundai/ Daihatsu runabouts that old people seem to buy. Good on him tho, I reckon I'll probably want another vRs in 30 years when I'm 60 and looking back at the good old days when diesel used to only cost 85p!!!!!

its 80p here :D

I have that silver tint and i am 36 :D wasn't me though,we have a black one that goes to b'ham quite often

Promise to get some 'just for men' and some trendier clothes to keep the car looking cool :rainfro:

You old people crack me up :P

Just kidding it's a car for people of all ages no matter how young or old

And diesel is 81.9p here. On the subject of diesel prices why is it so much more than petrol, when are we environmentally friendly people gonna get a price cut. By the way I don't expect anyone to know these answers but if you do that would be great. :D

P.S. Just for the record I do know diesel is worse than petrol on the environment.

Which Uni are you at?

Was there with it for a couple of months towards the end of last year. I'm back home now though.
