What bushes do i renew?

Hi guys, my mk1 vRS is on an 05' plate with 50,000 miles and lived a hard couple of years with South London roads. Im thinking of uprating or renewing the bushes but dont really know where to start? The car does not feel as planted as it used to, so i would like to hear any experiences good/bad with new bushes. I am aware tt bushes are an alternative to the poly/super but are they all too firm compared to the standard bushes? I would also appreciate what kind of labour/expense was involved with those who had a garage do the work. Regards, Neil.
