I've got a noisy heater fan ! it make's intermittent noise on all 4 speeds, sounds to becoming from the passenger side, to me it sounds like its running dry of oil. What would be my best cause of action ?. its driving me nuts :(

I had a similar problem, Turns out the "cooler box" sleve in the glove box was partly open causing a whistling / dry fan noise, Closed it fully and no issues now

Is this the sliding flap which blocks the cold air flow into the glove box? I had this problem on the Superb I borrowed, so I'm guessing it was the same problem

Yep it was, it was "half open" causing a whistle sound, now have it fully closed, Its a gimmick anyway
