Octy RS Boost Level

Featured Replies

Just a quickie

Fitted a boost gauge to my octy rs at last and was just wondering, does 0.7bar sound the correct level of boost without a remap. While in idle i'm getting -0.8bar.

Also, just ordered a full turbo back exhaust with sports cat from Blue Flame. They expect me to get at least a 17hp increase from their system, can't wait.

Errr.........about

0.7 bar spot on manufacturers spec.

None of them.

Although the AWP is the closest.

So, have the Octy's got the K03 turbo with a K04 compressor wheel - running 0.8 bar boost? (like in the spec)

Im not 100% sure, the Octavia use a AUQ engine which is different again, iirc the Octavia uses a KO3S but dont take that as gospel.
