Constant flashing glow plug ?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a problem with a 56 plate skoda octaiva 1.9 tdi 105 BHP

Last night i started the car and turned on the lighst and noticed the glow plug constantly flashing, ( had same problem on my Last car a Seat Toledo) anyway I knew what the fault was or did i?? i checked that all the lights and found they where working ok

I checked the break light they where not stuck on so i done a check on the break pedal sensor under the stearing wheel, everything looked ok, as it should be, what i did notice was my passenger rear fog light was very dim compared to the drivers side, i done a swap over on the bulbs and i still had the same problem,

My next move would be to replace the glow plugs, is this the next best move or am i wasting my time doing so,

Thank you for your time and help.

It usually is something to do with rear brake lights. Usually them being out. Try finding someone local with VCDS to scan the car for you. :)
