Ordered a new Fabia vRS in december, due to arrive in March, Yes im leaving the darkside of Diesel and going back to Peterol.

I'm curious what my current fabia is actually worth. The dealer offered me £3600 part ex. My brother intends to buy the car off me (at a brotherly rate) so its not for sale.

Full main dealer history - Serviced 200 miles ago.

Cambelt changed at 56k - main dealer

Console Bushes changed at last service.

The radiator sprung a leak and has been changed.

New Discs/Pads on the rear.

New Pads on the front.

Brand new Cont; Contact 2 Tyres on the front / 5 mm on the rear.

The paintwork is in good condition, a small chip on the bonnet and the rear spoiler is loosing its shine. Even with a good polish it never looks as good as the rest of the car, not sure why.

wheels have afew scuffs, not from high impact with the kerbs, just general bad parking!

The car is standard with Xenons with washers, Criuse Control and a CD changer.

Any realistic suggestions to its value would be appreciated?

£5500?

£5,500 sounds pretty high - depending on what figure you're actually wanting. £3,600 sounds about what I'd expect - for a part-ex. Private sale say £4.5k-£5k

My 04/54 car on 64.5k was traded in 5 months ago so roughly comparable to yours - didn't have Xenons but did have full leather. Initially I was offered £4k part-ex but that was raised to £4.5k and I got a £150 voucher towards cambelt replacement on the one I bought (due mid 2011).

4.5K would be a fair price.
