Just thought I'd say hello as there's a forum to do that!

I own a 59-reg Octavia 1.6 TDi SE hatchback, ex-demo, bought it in May 2010. Just about to hit 10k miles. Running very nicely so far, apart from the need for a replacement wheel bearing at around 8000 miles.

Live and work in France/Switzerland and still not too hot on the language, so it's a bit difficult to get any decent advice from garages out here, hence the reason for joining this forum! Always liked Skodas since we first had one as a family car - my dad had an N-reg Felicia estate from new back in 1996.
