vRS exhaust or something else?

Featured Replies

My vRS is approaching the late 70k mark and has developed a bit of an issue since the cold spell we had over the last few weeks.

Essentially when hitting between 2-3k rpm the exhaust (or something) seems to start rumbling / blowing like the exhaust system has gone,t sounds like i'm riding a quiet harley from inside the car! The exhaust doesn't look like its hanging down at the moment and the tail pipe doesn't move at all.

What is strange is that i've noticed it gets louder when turning the steering wheel to the left which has now started to worry me?

Anyone had similar issues?

it could be wheel the bearing or c.v joint. Best bet take it to a garage.

Hmm was afraid of that :(

Anyone know of good vag specialists within a couple of miles of warrington?

why do you need a specialist? its a 70k skoda nothing special. Take it to your local friendly garage.

I've never actually used one around here was just after some recomendations.

If its nearly due a service, take it to Awesome GTI and take advantage of the cheap servicing and

hopefully they will diagnose the problem at the same time.
