  1. Straight swap other then the inlet manifold
  2. So the car is now on 120,000 miles and I have treated it to an other dsg oil change and Heldex oil and pump clean. I have also started fitting led lights as the original bulbs are getting a bit dim.
  3. I did a little painting over the weekend
  4. So obviously I took all the good parts of the red Leon and put them on Bee (the yellow Leon) The parts are as follows, Power flex poly bushes all round. ap coilovers. neuspeed rarb. Cupra R seats. hellx single mass flywheel and paddle clutch. Cone air filter. 256 vented rear discs. Cat back sport exhaust. up graded smi. SIA delete. Some over vacuum delete. after market ice system with self built sub and amp. fox motor sport ms006 wheels.
  5. After an other long break, of the red seat leon sat around, the abs pump died and the abs wires melted and the floor plan rusted through I decided to get rid and get a four shaded yellow Seat Leon. The gf has name him Bee
  6. A straight swap I can do it in ten hours but a garage might charge 8-12 hours. It is also best to change the water pump and timing belts before the engines goes in to the car. (I might be wrong in thinking the Superb mk1 engine was in line not transverse)
  7. Front mount intercooler is finally on and plumb in. Looks messy but works
  8. Nice to see you sharing the progress Charlie at long last
  9. My key has been doing this on and off over the last year even with a new battery in the key. I just put the key in the cup holder and press the start/stop button again
  10. It’s a Columbus unit. The satnav doesn’t allow me to put the last part of the post code in, and the unit it self keeps doing a full system reboot
  11. After a bit of advice My airbag light came on about 3 weeks ago and at the same time stereo started to play up. I took my car to the dealers for a software update on the stereo and to look at the airbag light. After a nice little wait the dealer came back to me and said we can’t update the software on the stereo as it’s refusing to update, and the gps aerial needs renewing. With the airbag fault drivers front crash sensors- found to be internal in the airbag control unit. Has anyone had this before? Do I replace the airbag control unit? (I don’t really want to buy one to find the fault is else where) And is there any after market stereo units that can replace the Columbus unit like for like? many thanks
