Clutch gone at 18000miles

Featured Replies

Great news, 18,000 miles is very low for a clutch. I've been driving for nearly 40 years and have never replaced a clutch. Most did well over 100,000 and one did 250,000 miles. The most reliable car in that time has been the Maestro diesel.

I'm so pleased you got it sorted and well done Skoda for doing the right thing...

I've within the last hour been told that Skoda will replace the clutch under warranty - it's been a battle but the sales manager at the garage I bought it from managed to resolve it this afternoon.

Thanks to all for your advice and support - it most definitely helped.

This is good news and good Skoda UK have covered cost of hire car too.

The bad part is you had to fight.
