MP3 players????

Featured Replies

hi all,

currently looking for an mp3 player. any advice or recommendations? (no more than

Is it for in car or just general use. If it was for in car I would suggest just buying an mp3 headunit, you can get some decent units for 180 no probs. If its for general use then for the money you are looking at get an ipod mini from amazon for 175. The ipod looks the biz and is user friendly.

I quite like that phillips, and would recommend simply cos it's *not* an ipod!

its for personal use, i think the philips one looks great but just not sure how good it is

sorry for the poor use of phrase but i mean the spec looks good more than the appearance

This is the battery life of the player

i hope that means between charges.

had i best sell my ipod mini now that they are "chav"

True about the spec being better than the appearence.

 I just thought the ipods were a bit chav because they are a bit common - like nova's, they come in all colours, like the nokia phones the chavs have. The only non-chav thing is the price :D

mine has a glow in the dark i-skin :)

am i a chav? :p

Hi,

Been looking at them myself.

I've currently got a solid-state one from Argos, can go back under their 16 day returns policy...

same here: advancedmp3players

www.advancedmp3players.co.uk have some nice stuff, good prices, plus readers reviews.

I've got an archos which came from Advancedmp3 . Ordered it Friday @3.30 -delivered next day at 11.00 excellent service answered all my queries .

if tis going in the car make sure you can connect it easily and mount it. you will need to be able to change tracks / playlists somehow.
