Most fitters should be okay to fit them for you, its probbaly only the particularly astute of them that will notice they arent specifically designed for the wheels you're using.

Ive only found one place that said they would have a go at it and they couldnt do it.would be willing to travel if anyone knows of anywhere.

I can't imagine the fitting would be the difficult part as its only the width of the tyre that will be different, its getting the bead to seat correctly and the tire to blow up (was a tire fitter myself from school for a couple of years). Where abouts in the country are you, i may know someone up Yorkshire way that will do them.

Isn't 165 pushing stretch a little too far?

I was just thinking the same thing. Its probably doable but its likely to be right at the limit of the stretch. 190mm ish width wheel so you're stretching 15mm each side, thats quite a lot.

That's really not much of a stretch at all, anywhere with a bead cheater will be able to do it for you

Have you any idea where abouts will have one. Thanks Steven

165s on a vRS should be fun..lol

anyone know where will fit these?

I have had 165/50/15's on a 7" rim - no problem - my local kwikFit did it for me for £35!!

Its not hard to do - just takes some patience and a bit of brute force - use a strup around the tyre to squeeze it around the tread - it pushes the sidewalls outwards - then put plenty of pressureinto it, then let the tyres down a bit and slacken off the strop - easy!
