I like what you have done with your motors but just curious why you would buy a 1.2 Fabia and then spank a load of cash modding it with vRS wheels, aftermarket suspension, bodykit etc etc when you could buy a VRS in the first place (and then mod that if that takes your fancy)......?

Whats worse is that because it looks like a vRS but is only a 1.2, people will think its pants. never understood that myself. With all the mods you plan you'll be approaching the vRS price tag. And with insurance if you have 'declared' the mods to the insurance the 1.2TSI choice its obviously not for insurance reasons as modded cars fetch a good premium.

cause it was on VAT off and I didn`t really like the vRS hatch I test drove (which I later saw at the same dealership with its engine out and front brakes off!!!!) so even with all the mods its had so far I`m still several grand under the vRS price (and still less than the VAT free vRS price!)

Might even be swapping back to the original wheels as the vRS wheels are too easy to curb. Besides, I like the slightly more q-car image of the non-vRS model!

a Q car is an unassuming car with high performance, ie a sleeper, or wolf in sheeps clothing. but i get what you mean i guess

I reckon most people would look at the Fabia elegance on vRS rims and think "wannabe..."

yup I have, will get them up in the Superb forum in a min.

As for the vRS wheels, they are coming off soon as I have got bored of them!
