Can anyone tell me if there is an effective way to delete all the music from the Columbus HDD in one go. The music files are all stored in the root directory and there does not seem to be an option to select everything and perform a delete command on the whole library.

Hi,

Josi has posted various utilities on VWNavi including ones to reformat map and/or music partitions on HDD. Guess that would be your best bet.

For future use why not load everything within a single user folder then it's a single delete using Columbus functionality.
