Where exactly do I find the convenience unit on 2001 fabia. I believe it is somewhere near steering column. What do I need to remove? How is it mounted to car?

Some threads mention wet multiplug going into front doors. Where exactly do I find plugs to check? What do I need to remove?

You need to remove the whole cover under the steering wheel to get to it. This involves removing the light switch (pushing in while turning to sidelight position then wiggling out), removing all the torx screws, then the cover can be dropped and the OBD2 port removed.

Sits above the clutch pedal in a plastic bracket.
