Seat covers for Octavia Elegance?

Featured Replies

Anyone got any suggestions for a decent set of car seat covers (preferably a leather look) both front and back and are waterproof? Got a budget of around £100

Cheers guys

Be very careful with this; the Elegance spec includes side airbags, which are mounted in the seat backrests.

Can you not fit them because of this then? Thats a bit of a shame....

I think you can get seat covers that are designed for side airbags but you don't want to fit normal ones as things could get nasty if the airbag does deploy.

Any linkys guys would be appriciated

Not a fan of seat covers myself but they must exist for octavia's with the amount that are used as Taxis, nearly every one that ive ever been in has covers on the seats and i would think they would have to have air bag compatable ones to carry passengers

I doubt the taxi spec cars have side airbags

I've not seen many taxied Octys with covers, but pretty much all the ones I've seen have been Classic, Ambiante or "Taxi" trim. Anyone with a Classic or Ambiante who can tell us if they have side bags?

both me and my dad have town and country seat covers

mine have been on for nearly 6 years and are not showing any sign of wear

I can also confrim that they are designed for seats with side airbags becuase they have velcro down the side.
