Fabia Accessories

Featured Replies

I've decided to go mad and splash out on a few bit's n' pieces for my 04 Fabia VRS. Shopping list consists of:

Sunglasses holder: Vagparts.

Cargo Net: Vagparts do sell one, 8L0 065 110. However it also fits the A4, they assure me it will work fine in my car but I can't help think it would be a bit, well, flacid in my smaller booted Fabia - anyone have any flacid related experience? Actually, having just looked at the Skoda catalogue, the offical one is cheaper. That would probably be a better bet.

Under parcelshelf storage bag thingy: Only place I've seen this is the offical Skoda catalogue, is there anywhere cheaper?

I can assure I never have trouble with anything being flacid... :D Oh, the cargo net? I say go for the Skoda one, just in case. :)

Not sure on the parcel shelf one . Looking at the piccies, the net seems OK for the job, and 1/3 of the price @

WOW!

Something I'm an expert in, this was my first and only mod (so far ;)) for my Fabia VRS! Got a cargo net chucked in when I got the car as I often carry boxes of stuff about in the boot. Its the Skoda one I have, and if its the same size, then yes flacid-ness could well be a problem! The net looks as if it was designed for a considerably bigger boot, and doesnt seem to have a huge amount of stretch around the edges. It certainly doesn't shrink to fit like some cargo nets. I usually have a big plastic box under mine so it fits quite nicely over it, just its a bit loose for the smaller items.

Depends what your sticking under it really, but I've found mine useful for my ever present plastic box.

A *slight* thread hijack, but is this the right sunglass holder to get from VAG Parts, to fit the Fabia? I did a search on there and it came up with a few...

And do you know how much the Fabia boot storage bags are (either left or right) that are listed in the Accessories brochure? For me they might be a better bet than the parcel shelf storage bag.

Thanks,

Steve

Hmmm, only available in Pearl Grey & Beige - that'll go nicely with the black vRS headlining

... unless you have cream seats, of course:

i have always wondered what those pocket type things are for on the seat side

I have the 3 piece cargo nets & under parcelshelf net. Bought from the dealer

Very handy! One large net that covers the entire boot floor, one net that goes across the of the rear seat & one that covers the wheel arch (from the back of rear ligts to the back of the rear seats).

I must admit, I haven't used the under shelf net, yet.

I could post some pics up if anyones interested.

pics pics pics :)

pics pics pics :)

LOL! It'll have to be tonight, cos I haven't got the camera with me.

pah your a failure as a skoda owner ;)

i could do with some nets and things

Did someone not find the sunglass holder in black? I'm trying to find the reference to it on here, but can't find it :(

Steve

they painted it iirc

Oh right, maybe that was it then. I just remember someone mentioning that the R32 had a black headlining. But then again, maybe I'm confusing this with the dampened grab handles project!! I think I need to go and lie down :D

Steve

maybe the new mk5 golf has a black one anyway who knows these damn krauts :D

Seeing as we are the subject of boot storage, err, I've got this strap in the boot, left hand side. Whats it for?

Also, what are the headlight protectors like? Do they work? How easy do they go on? Do they have a Skoda badge on? Does somewhere do them for cheaper than Skoda's

It's a grab handle for illegal immigrants.

Thats gonna be useful. Esp as I'm going to France a lot later in the year.

The resprayed glasses holder in the other thread is great - looks like a really good job done.

Has anyone got any pics of the boot storage accessories - the bags, boxes and so on?

Pics of luggage nets:-

Thats great - thanks for the pics - exactly what I'm looking for really.

How much were the nets, and was this from a dealer?

Easy to fit?

Cheers!
