central locking - using remote

Featured Replies

Just bought Skoda no 8 yesterday - Fabia SE. - well pleased as usual.

Has the way the central locking works changed.

This one works as follows :

1 press of the fob opens drivers door only - others including boot remain locked

2 presses of the fob opens all doors.

It is either an excellent safety feature or a fault - Which?

Yep , thats how my Mk I vRS works.

You can have it programmed to either do that or to unlock all doors with one press just get you dealer to do which ever you prefer.

A problem is that impatient passengers (SWMBO) seizing the door handle can mess things up. And give me earache.

My SIL was robbed after she opened all her doors with the remote. On balance, I prefer the more secure system.

My brand new loan 1.2 HTP has the one click/two click system.
