Hi. Due to a leaky EGR, i have brought an EGR delete pipe from egrvalves.com.

How hard are they to fit? Simply unbolt and replace? Or i have to take off manifold?

Haha just found your post on tdiclub. I have the same problem, though I don't think I'll attempt it myself!

I did find a guide in the murky hours of last night but cannot find it again :(

Although I do remember all the pictures were with the manifold removed.

Yeah thats the one i found i think. Im up for giving it ago. Ill just set myself a 5 hour time slot or so

I think the actual pipe should be fine but is the exhaust blank you put on, on the bottom of the manifold?

meant to be easy.

remove the pipe for the airbox, look down that gap and you can get to the place where the blanking plate goes, IIRC it takes most ppl 30min.

Then you have to get the light mapped out

Ive spoke to a couple of people who have said that the light never came on for them! Even so, ill just keep checking it with vagcom.

Will probably just clean and rebuild the EGR, just want to see if this improves anything
