Washer pipe

Hello all,

My washer pipe burst off as a consequence of the recent cold weather. So eventually I have had a look at it, connected the pipes back together but washer fluid was still ****ing out. I have cut the connectors off either end of the pipe and shoved some blue silicone hose in its place and it works a dream!

My only concern is; next time its freezing, will the pipe burst off elsewhere as a result of fixing the coneection at the bulk head?
