Fabia vRS - Squeaks, Rattles, Bumbs, Grinds, Creaks

Hi all,

I am getting many different rattles and squeaks etc from my fabia vRS all the time.

Use this to post your solutions to different noises.

The first problem I have found is this:

Loud squeak from front wheel arch areas when shifting the weight of the car backwards and forwards. Almost like the suspension is squeaking. Can be heard from inside and outside the car and seems to be worse in dry weather when its both cold or warm.

This turned out to be (after lots of research) the front console bushes that had split (common problem with fabia's). Its a fairly involved job to replace them but can be done at a dealers for around £180.

I still have an anoying rattle down by the glove box/ passenger side door which I am searching for a solution to.
