I've bitten the bullet

Featured Replies

and opted to hire one whilst I'm in Lanzarote later this year. Hope I'm going to like a left hooker and that it's as good as my vRS.

Huh?

Nope, just spent 2 minutes of my life trying to decipher what the OP is getting at and failed. That's 2 minutes I will never see again.

Huh?

+1 Didn't understand OP

Think the op has decided to hire a Monster while holidaying in Lanzarote :giggle: to replace his less capable vRS :D

One now waits for the fallout from the vRS community

Yes decided to hire one (thought it was obviously really...do we need spell everything out ??) :wonder: and don't be daft. Can't be better than my vRS as it's a darn sight higher :giggle:

Made sense to me.

He's hiring one. It's posted in the Yeti specific area. That would suggest he is hiring a Yeti.

I really hope you enjoy it Paul - it's not a case of which is better - it's viva la difference! That height helps you to see a lot of what's going on.

Got the hiring bit, just didn't understand the chalk and cheese comparison.

TBH I was really surprised. Had a 1.2 TSi for a week last week and it's a peppy little motor. The elevated driving position is good and there's good comms from the tyres and steering. The DSG7 doesn't like downgradients though, and it seems to hunt around when climbing uphill betwee 5-7 which is a bit annoying. Other than that, I'll probably be having one at some point.
