Technical changes to the Yeti MY10 & 11

Recommended Posts

Having spent the past week or so browsing through the parts 'book' when I have a spare minute, besides noting the origin of these parts (see DNA thread) I have also started to catalogue changes in part numbers or components that suggest an update or technical change has taken place. Some clearly are on cost grounds particularly affecting the 2wd models from MY11. Also noted some part numbers are already listing obsolescence at the end of May 2011, which could suggest forthcoming changes for MY12; Columbus being one such component :wonder:

I have 2.0TDI CR (140bhp) 4x4 with 6 speed DSG.

Do you have any further information on the change "May 2011 - MUA 6 speed DSG to be replaced by NJC 6 speed DSG"?

Is it significant?

Unfortunately no further info at this time; listed as an up and coming change in the model and transmission overview in the electronic parts system.
