JVC SU-DH1 "Dolby Headphone" surround sound portable headphone amplifier

"What on earth is that?" I hear you cry...

I was looking around for the best solution to having surround sound through headphones a while ago, basically for evening gaming - having my 5.1 surround sound setup pumping out isn't ideal with a sleeping baby upstairs :)

There are various solutions including 'surround sound' headphones, but my research concluded this gizmo was the best idea. Picture on the following link:

This little box takes a digital optical signal (which your PS3, sky box, DVD player etc etc more than likely supports) then converts it into a realistic surround sound which you listen to with a standard pair of headphones. It supports all the common formats e.g. Dolby Digital, DTS etc. and also supports Dolby Pro Logic so 2 channel sources can also be converted into surround sound.

Cost me well over £100 originally. I've just bought a new amp which includes surround sound processing via headphones (also for sale) so this is no longer required. Not boxed, runs on batteries or (as I do) any 99p multi power adapter will work.

£65 delivered. For £70 I'll include a huge (at least 10m) optical lead with the correct adapter to convert from the bigger optical plug to the small one which cost me £15.

Paypal gift only.

Yup still available - was headed to eBay this weekend but you're welcome to it. I'll PM you a bit later on with my email address for payment.

Cheers,
