Rear screenwash Won't spray!

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new to this forum.

I'm having a problem with my rear screenwash not spraying. The front works and if i try to spray the rear the motor sounds like it's working but still no spray! It only stopped wrking after Auto-Glass came and replaced the wiper after they broke it when replacing the windscreen. They have been out today to bring a final part and i asked them and they said it sounds like the pump/motor has gone, but as i say i can hear the pump/motor when i try to spray.

Thnaks in advance.

Theres a post on here that lists the 4 points where the pipe may "unclip itself"

So far mines come off in the engine bay near the firewall (under the airbox and ECU in a 1.9tdi), and behind the trim in the boot lid.

Will have a look for that! I know it hasn't come off in the boot trim as Auto-Glass took it off and looked.

I'd have a look in the engine bay then, quick to do.

Follow the pipes from the washer bottle to where it should go into the firewall (about half way between the middle and passenger side of the car).

Or squirt the washer, move the car, look for a wet patch :D :D
