Changing from MFD2 to RNS510

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I have a 2005 Octavia II 2.0tdi Elegance. It came equipped with a MFD2 however no CD Changer, and as the navigation disc uses the CD slot I bought a multimedia adapter from T-ERA.co.uk that allows my ipod to play music and video on the headunit.

I've decided to change the headunit to a RNS510, My question is that my car has a Maxi-Dot display and will the RNS510 be "plug-n-play"? Also im aware that I require new fascia trim and the radio plug adapter, but can anyone tell me what part numbers they are.
