looking at buying some wheels for the fabia, there 17x8 5x112 et48, if i fit 5x100-5x112 15mm adapters will that take them to et33 and will they fit?

Yes they'll fit.. but you should probs try and get 20mm adapters, that way you can buy H&R adaptors and not have to mess about with custom ones.

(Trust me on this, i have 15mm VW-BMW adaptors and it's been a massive pain in the ass getting them to fit correctly, as 'warwaick hunt' says bolts and stuff don't sit flush)

This is the type of problems you start getting the thinner the adaptor..

so how would you use these?

get shorter wheel bolts or cut the existing ones obviously wouldnt recommend that lol, though i would want more then 15mm of thread holding my wheels on tbh

How far does a normal bolt go in then?! It cant go in by that much more surely?

Oh yeah totally agree, hardly something you want to bodge, nothing worse than being overtaken by your one wheel on the M1

get that man a marrbar lol, the back of the wheels had indentations to i should be good, ill have to test fit them once coilovers are on and c how much room i have to play with, even if i have to get 20mm's and machine them down to 18 or whatever
