Hi, I have just fitted my new 2din CD player and it seems like the previous owner has removed a part from the "dashboard".

It is the cover that is over the CD player, and under the buttons where you can heat the back window. It is this player: http://www.bilradiospes.no/m/shop/?produkt=3945&katid=6&mid=m436&id=&vn=736

I will post picture later to show you guys what i mean. I just wonder if it is possible to get that plastic cover or if I would have to buy "everything" for the dashboard?

It is where the two screws are in the top.

I also wonder if anyone has changed the dashboard lights to blue, since my player has blue lights and everything else in the car is green.

You can get the trim from Skoda, only costs a few quid.

that small piece you have to but from any vag dealer. £3.60 if I remember rightly.

The original stereo would not have needed that part, since the oem headunit covers that area of the dash.

Do you guys know the name of that part, if it has a name, so I can order it online?

SOLVED

Ordered the part from the local skoda dealer. Will fix it on tuesday.
