Lowering Springs for the Fabia Estate.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just a quick querie, I'm wondering if anyone has fitted lowering springs to the Fabia Estate, looking at a 30 mil drop at least or If I can get these from Skoda.

Hope you can help?

Skoda Sport springs or I have Eibachs which are -30F -20R.

Hi Ross,

Thanks for the reply, any pics of how your Estate looks on springs?

sure - you can see the front is a bit lower than a vRS with the Eibachs but the back is the same height. Mind you, will be about 10-20mm lower again when I swap back to my Comets!

And for anyone interested - you`d need to drop a normal estate by 90mm to get it to sit "properly" over its wheels.

Don`t think there are any coilies about yet for the Facelift that will allow another 60mm drop on top of what I have although there are for the pre-FL.

I gotta say - that's an awfully handsome estate. Wondering whether I should have got one now. Oh well. Too late.

Thanks Ross, that looks ace mate- What size are the comets are they 16inch??

I'm going to be running 15inch wheels.

16s yeah, the Gigaros are 17s so they bump up the height a bit. Not sure if you can get any decent performance tyres in 215/35 or 205/35 which would drop it back to the same height as the 16s.

Would think the drop would be a bit more obvious with 15s as the wheels would tuck into the arches a bit more than the bigger sizes. But then 15s could look a bit on the small size if you get the wrong size tyres especially as the Fabia is quite slab-sided. Especially the estate!
