My name is Tristan Carroll, and I bought a bright Yellow Octavia vRS for the wife....... but I now wish it was mine!!

I've been scouring this forum before posting as my wife and I have been looking to purchase said car for the past few days.

It's a really helpful forum and already has helped me with a few queries!

Now we have it, albeit on a rather hefty 168,000 miles !!! - But to be fair the interior and exterior looks like it's done way less than half that mileage. It's been looked after over the years and even has ALL the original books, all the MOT's since it's first one, and even a fully stamped service book by a local Skoda dealer!! - I was well pleased. Especially after getting it for a mere £1300 !!

We looked at a 69,000 mile Volvo C70 on a 2002 plate and it was a stinker. Total waste of my time to be honest. So to find this Octavia in such a fantastic state was astounding.
