Just recently picked up my new fabia greenline 2 estate, was wondering what tyres anyone else got on theres from the dealer. Its just that mine are dunlop sport tyres and I was expecting an eco contact or michelin energy saver or something.

I was expecting some fancy low rolling resistnace/eco tyres too.

But sure enough, they come with the same Dunlops as other new Skoda's.

Our Yeti had the same, just a bit bigger.

Mines a Greenline 1. It didn't come with low rolling resistance tyres either. Standard Dunlops that just get inflated slightly harder as standard.

There is a lot of marketing nonsense about eco tyres. The savings are minimal which IMHO don't outweigh the safety and practicality of non eco tyres. I changed to Good Year Optigrip which grip just as well and are quieter than the Dunlops. Need another 2 soon and I plan to put on Uniroyal Rain Expert which got excellent 'Which' reviews.
