Wind noise from passenger window

Featured Replies

There is alot of wind noise coming through the passenger window. It seems to be coming through where the mirror is. Does anyone else have this problem. Cheers

No...you should not be experiencing undue wind noise in that area. Possible causes are (appreciate you may know this)...window not fully (and tightly) closing. Try undoing the window all the way to the bottom and then closing it fully again...see if that does the trick. Or, a missing 'A' pillar seal on that side of the vehicle. This is really a cometic item but if it detaches as has happened on some Fabia, some extra wind noise in that vicinity will be apparent at certain speeds. This is the seal between the windscreen down pillar and where it joins the bodywork (front wing). Easy to replace if it's missing. Or, a badly fitting window seal. None of it a problem to fix. Hope it's sorted soon.

I am sure a quick trip to dealer will sort it out. Thats what the warranty is for.

Let us know how you get on.

As Estate man says check that seal. There are a few of people on here who have had to have them re-fit. I remember one review I read listed this as a point to check if buying used.
