Just fit a decent pair of Pioneer, inifinity or other. Just fitted a nice pair of pioneers to my octy. New unused but older model, off ebay for a tenner posted.

What size are Fabia door units? as I have my octavia 6 1/2" units in the garage, free to collect if suitable.

Oh. That sucks. Going to ring Farmers Skoda first thing Monday see if they can get me one for £25 fitted haha.

I am planning to put some neoprene foam tape between the adapter ring and the door, and the speaker and the adapter to try reduce water ingress and vibrations.

I'm going to car audio centre in Leicester to drop a few hundred on a system with a sub etc. 2 decent door speakers with fitting for about £100.

Very helpful talking to me down the phone, Farmers Skoda on the other hand were shoddy. 'Not covered by warranty' - the voice coil hasn't melted, the cone has come away which is a defect. The head unit doesn't cause cones to come away, a burnt out coil yes, but not a seperated cone.
