Hey all

Im Jamie im 21 and live in bristol.

Just got my octavia VRS (55/2006) in black, i upgraded from a ford focus st170 and i must say i love it cant believe i didnt get one sooner !

My car hasnt got the maxidot screen /cry and was wondering if it could be upgraded at a later date.

Just ordered some new bulbs and a HID kit(i know its 'illegal' blah blah) as my last car had xenons from the factory and going back to halogen bulbs is pants.

Can anybody tell me if the bristol region has many members if so are there any meets? as the focus forum i was a part of the bristol region was quite pants :(.

Hello, can anyone help! I have a kamiq and at 55,000 my car suddenly failed, teva burning smell and no power. Was told it needed a clutch replacement and brakes replacement. £2,500. I questioned this as I’ve been driving for 34 years and never burnt out a clutch. I was forced to pay. I had raised questions about the car having a fault. Was told it was driver error. Fast forward 8 weeks and my clutch failed again - the same burning smell. Garage are unbelievably wanting £1,500 to replace again!!

I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!

Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

Having sold my Karoq back to the dealer, I will be leaving the group. I have had some difficulty with DVLA, with it taking 6 months to renew my licence due to referral to their Medical Review Team. I am deemed fit (although others may think otherwise!), but any further medical issues, or recurrence of older ones may remove licence. Don’t want to be stuck with a car I can’t use.

Hi. Just see that my 2023 skoda sportline karoq 19 inch wheels 19 inch. Sagittarius I believe? One of the covers is missing. Unsure if has been missing long and wanted your take on whether it has been stolen or has just fell off due to bad clips or design flaws. See photo of good wheel and the trim removed.
