Would anyone be interested in a Yeti meet and run out in and around Scarborough on Easter bank holiday Monday, April 25th?

As TP's currently Yeti-less I'm happy to plan and organise one if folk are interested. There's loads of options, including some off-roading if wanted, abundant B&Bs if folk want to stay over, and better fish and chips than even Whitby!!

Please let me know if you might be interested and what you'd like to do.

I'll say a tentative "Yes" for now - but a lot can happen between now and then and I have also said a tentative "Yes" to another event on the same weekend ... depends on the weather I guess.

Not too much off-roading for us 2WD guys though!

O'ye of little faith - can see it now, build date brought forward to late March, collect 'son of Pat' ready for Easter.

i will be there from friday to monday...just an heads up lads its the national scooter weekend and there will be 5000 scooterists inc me there ..so it will be packed!!

Will there be any Greasers there with their motorbikes like there was in 1970 when I was a Mod on the back of my mates SX200 (WITH 18 MIRRORS!).WE had a running battle on the Marine Drive. :yes:

I 'm sure TP counts as an honorary SMOC member - just park the Furby 50 yds away from our SMs !!

As for the scooters, I've lived here for 14 yrs and hardly ever notice them. A bit of blue exhaust haze around the headland for a few mins and then they're gone!

Well even so Scarborough's a big town, there's room for all. Can you find out where the scooters will be assembling and we'll choose somewhere else!
