Hi

on my air box theres a sensor at the back looking at fitting a cai where does that sensor go

It's either the MAF sensor, or it's the igntion power stage (If it's an old 1.8t engine). How many connectors does it have on it?

Hi mate it has two one either side

In that case, it will be the ignition power stage.

You need to keep it connected, otherwise your engine won't run. (provides the spark).

I'm not sure if it needs airflow to cool it down though. It doesn't have anything to do with the air intake, so fitting a CAI won't matter. Think it's just there to cool tt down.
