Having my garage fit new consol bushes/springs&shocks..

Featured Replies

Right so I've just had my car a day now since I put it in for a service at the local Audi/Skoda certified garage. The chap has told me that the consol bushes are worn and its caused some uneven tyre wear. This is the first time they will have to be changed and so I understand there are uprated one's you can get and seat one's.

He's said that he can get all the parts and labour sorted for £140, does that sound right for this job?

Now my next question, I'll be ordering some apex spring's and shocks to bring the VRS down a little In a few week's. Does it make sense to have him fit them while doing the bushes? I'm hoping If i ask he can do both for £200 instead of just £140 for the bushes to be fitted.

Does that seem alright to ask?

Any help is appreciated before I end up forking out all this mulah!

Thanks x

That's a reasonable price, it's worth asking about the suspension, it's not directly related job wise but the car is on the ramp wheels off etc and I guess they would like the work so yeah, see what they can do.
