Cr Vrs Kn Filter

Featured Replies

I've not got the heads up on diesel tuining and always has turbo petrol cars.

But would this KN filter http://www.knfilters.com/instructions/A2054-813_inst.pdf have any benefits on the CR engine?

Thanks in advance

Tim

None whatsoever unless you coat it in snake oil and seal it with elbow grease then you'll gain 0.00000001 bhp for the £50 they will fleece you for! save your money!!

Don't worry about horsepower increases or not as the case maybe, the kit might make the car feel a little more responsive on the throttle and it will give a nice subtle induction hum, also, K&N are around an awful long time and I don't think they would be as succesful as they are by making c**p.

I think the song goes................"If it makes you happy, then it can't be that bad"

Standard airbox and a diesel = No Difference, does make a difference on Petrol but not on diesels plus they are prone to being over oiled and screwing up the MAF Sensor .....like I said, save your money.........blow it on something else for the car!!
