I thought this would be a good place to ask this question, because to me it seems a bargain, but am I missing something obvious!

I've been offered a 56 plate Fabia HTP, with under 8k on the clock, fully serviced, one owner from new for £1000

I can't see a reason in the world why I wouldn't go for this deal (even though if you'd asked me 10 years ago would I ever drive a Skoda I'd have laughed) because money is a real issue right now.

It's got no damage other than a few scratches from being left at a local station every day, and hasn't been involved in any accidents or the like.

It's longest trip was London to Cardiff over a weekend.....

It's a bargain right?!

@Skodaboy1983 Thanks for the welcome, as it looks like I'm soon to be an owner it's nice to have found somewhere friendly! Yes, very cheap, but history checks out as it's my wife's employers selling it to us.

@PastyBoy Yeah it's around 7700 at the moment when I checked it, it only does a mile a day to the station and back generally!

I've looked up the car on a couple of trader sites, and it really does seem a bargain, and they have now offered us to be able to pay for it over 12 months..... it's an offer I've now accepted....

Now.... how easy is that badge to get off of the front? hehehehehe
