I am new here!

I havn't had a Skoda since 1994....

I will (in a few days) be the proud owner if an immaculate 03 plate Octavia 1.9tdi 'Ambiente'.

My first Skoda was an E reg 120 Estelle, which turned out to be a complete 'Friday afternoon' car, but that has not put me off and have been after a Skoda for a number of years - now its a case of needing one - As my partner and I are both musicians with stacks of gear, the Octavia is an ideal motor (boot capacity and 1.9tdi grunt).

Hope it lives up to my expectations!!!!!!!

Hi and welcome aboard.

Went and collected my Octavia on Friday!

It is in absolutely mint condition both inside and out, only a couple of specs of stone-chips on leading edge of bonnet. Although mileage may be percieved as high at 154k (Isle of wight mentality - anything over 10k/year is seen as high!!) there is a full service history and first five services from new were done at the original Skoda garage and subsequent services done at same non-Skoda garage.

The new rubber at each corner and brilliant valeting job gave the appearance of a brand new car

After driving a Citroen Xsara (1.4i petrol) for a few years, the 1.9 TDI lump is a real punch in the pants!!!!
