These 4 head units are my choices.

Is it me or are 1 + 2 the same HU but different colours, the same for 3 + 4...? :confused:

I prefer the look of the Pioneer.

i pref the alpines. but had the pion in the tvrs... either is a good unit...

alpine more useable for mp3 in my experiences...

Are you sure the two pioneers are actually different model head units? On my old Pioneer, you could change the colour with a setting on the menu.

Either you go for green so it looks Skoda, or you go red for it to stand out (unless you chop your octy in for a Leon :P)

As Mike said, sound also has a part to play. Haven't heard either of them so can't advise you sound-wise :( After all, you listen what comes out of the speakers more than what the thing looks like, especially when concentrating on the road :P

Purely on looks I'd pick the last of the two alpines.

You'd have to do away with that tape though

Have fitted and heard the first one. It's great for the money, powerful and clear sound. Was going to buy it myself until I was offered a sweet deal on something else by a fellow Briskodian

Has cold feet too. Although for the first time in a while I have mine pointed at 50% screen, 50% feet... Usually don't suffer with chilly feet, but have the past month or so. (It's my age, ya know)

Personally i'm not bothered either way - my dad likes hot feet lol
