Just bought a 59 reg Fabia 1, with the key operated central locking, alarm and immobiliser system.

Ive been told by the dealer, that the remote control in the accessories brochure is not compatible with the late 2009 models.

Is this information correct? If so, can anything else be done, without having to have a complete new remote central locking/alarm/immobiliser system installed.

Any ideas or comments anyone?

i've been told by the dealer that you can add the remote locking but it's a bit risky with messing up the electrics..
