new brakes required

Featured Replies

Due to lack of use as, i have a works van, the discs on my car are all badly pitted and their is also a slight judder when braking. I need them replaced front and rear. Would like a good set that would last. Car is just used for normal driving so not looking for drilled and grooved discs. Was thinking about getting a set from skoda (if not too dear) and getting a friend to fit them. Would be grateful of some feedback on what you guys would recommend. Sealed inside my rear doors today so fingers crossed no more water! :D

if this is just rust on the discs mate mine gets it all the time when its sat on the drive a couple of emergency stops clears it off no bother, may be worth a try first. I replaced them on my mondeo once for same reason and guy said they still had a fair few miles in them

Wish it was just rust. They are badly scored and their is also the judder.

Have tried braking hard and applyling hand brake when safe to do so! It helps clean them up but dont improve them.
